The Maritim Hotel Reichshof is a grandiose property with a classical white façade built in 1910, and located directly in front of Hamburg's Hauptbahnhof station. This six-storey hotel features 303 guestrooms, all of which include a traditional cream decor and antique furnishings. All rooms have pay movies, voicemail, minibars and Internet connections.
The hotel's Restaurant Classic serves seasonal regional and international cuisine and an array of wines in a wood-panelled turn-of-the century luxury liner-style setting with high ceilings. The M & M Bar offers cocktails and whiskies served in a relaxed informal ambience with Art Nouveau decor and live piano music. The lobby has a classic vanilla decor with chandeliers and antique armchairs, and is overlooked by the gallery of Schampus Bistro-Café, which offers snacks and drinks and live piano music. A gymnasium, indoor swimming pool and spa facilities, including a sauna, steam bath and solarium, are available to guests. Fresh spring water is taken from the hotel's own well. Seminars of up to 200 people can be organized in 15 conference rooms and parking is available for a fee of ¬13 per day. Local attractions include Hamurische Kunsthalle Museum (400 metres from the hotel), Alster river and lake (500 metres) and Hamburg City Hall (1.5 kilometres away). Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel Airport (HAM) is 30 minutes by car, 12 kilometres from the hotel.
